KARNES COUNTY, Texas – An earthquake with a 3.6 magnitude shook the area of Falls City Saturday night.

  • Shook a 40-mile area
  • Southeast of San Antonio
  • Several responses in nearby cities

According to U.S. Geological Survey, an earthquake slightly shook nearly a 40-mile area (nine zip codes) southeast of San Antonio around 8:47 p.m. The impact was strongest in Falls City.

Several responses to the earthquake were reported in Hobson, Poth, Karnes City, Floresville, Gillet, Campbellton, San Antonio and Austin.

There were no injuries or damages reported.
