DALLAS — Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) will return to regularly scheduled bus and rail services starting tomorrow, Feb. 26. Previously, DART had limited its services, including suspending rail service from Feb. 23 and altering bus routes, due to freezing weather in North Texas.

“The safety of DART riders and employees will always be the primary focus of the agency,” Michele Wong Krause, chair of DART Board of Directors released the following statement said. “Throughout the extreme weather this week, DART continued to provide service through our bus network, including 14 bus routes dedicated to riders at our rail stations. DART employees also worked throughout the night transporting passengers after service hours from rail and bus stations to ensure they got home safely."

Cold weather will continue to affect the DFW area, so riders can continue to bundle up at these locations from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday Feb. 26 and Sunday Feb. 27.
