ROUND ROCK, Texas — All aboard the Round Rock Express! The season gets started Friday at Dell Diamond as the Express hosts the Albuquerque Isotopes (the Colorado Rockies affiliate) for a three-game series.

To celebrate the start of the season, there will be new activities each day of the weekend. There will be an express cap giveaway on Friday, March 31, with postgame fireworks presented by Bud Light.

The first 1,500 fans into the Diamond on Saturday will receive a fauxback jersey presented by Intel.

For the final day of the weekend series, Sunday’s game will be celebrating Kids Day presented by H-E-B, with free inflatables and train rides before the game. Kids can also run the bases after the game.

Gates open Friday evening at 5:30 and the game starts at 7:05.

The club announced its preliminary roster on Wednesday, March 29, with 13 of the 31 players having logged Major League service time in their careers. According to MLB.com, five of the top 30 prospects in the Texas Rangers organization are featured on the roster. Twenty returning players from last season also made the list.
