UFL President and CEO Russ Brandon said in a news release that he was excited about opening the new headquarters during a ceremony at the league’s new offices–which are located just a mile away from AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Field.

The “UFL HQ” will serve as a “football hub” for all the league’s teams, according to the release.

The UFL was created following a merger between the XFL and the United States Football League (USFL), and it comprises eight teams–including two Texas teams, the Arlington Renegades and the Houston Roughnecks.

“The United Football League’s decision to open its headquarters and player training facilities here is a huge win for the City of Arlington and for fans who will visit from across the country each spring to see their favorite UFL teams,” said Arlington Mayor Jim Ross in the release. “As the sports and entertainment capital of Texas, Arlington is thrilled to showcase the incredible talent of the UFL’s eight teams and create unforgettable experiences for their fans.”

The UFL estimates that the North Texas city will host over 600 players, coaches and staff during training camps and throughout the season.

The new headquarters will consist of five centralized facilities, including Choctaw Stadium, the main office building and three additional practice locations.

The 2025 season will kick off on Friday, March 28, at 7 p.m. with a matchup between the St. Louis Battlehawks and the Roughnecks.
