AUSTIN, Texas – Now that the Texas Longhorns have snatched the Golden Hat away from the Oklahoma Sooners, all attention points toward Saturday, when the No. 1 Longhorns take on the No. 5 Georgia Bulldogs.

And nothing puts all eyes on Texas more than a live broadcast of ESPN’s “College GameDay” show in Austin to kick off the day of the week designated for college football.

On Saturday, "College Gameday" will broadcast live from the University of Texas campus for the 10th time in history, ESPN announced last weekend.

Hosted by Rece Davis, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee, Nick Saban, Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso and other ESPN personalities, the show will air from 8 to 11 a.m. CT.

Saturday’s broadcast will mark Texas’ seventh time appearing on ESPN’s "College GameDay" within the last four seasons. The Longhorns were showcased on the program earlier this year ahead of Texas' 31-12 victory over the Michigan Wolverines, the reigning national champions, at Michigan Stadium on Sept. 7.

Both the Longhorns and the Bulldogs are coming off of a high. Texas toppled OU, 34-3, while the Bulldogs defeated Mississippi State, 41-31, on Saturday. Georgia’s only loss this season was an upset by the Alabama Crimson Tide in Week 5 of the season.

Last week, it was announced that Saturday’s highly anticipated matchup would take the prime-time slot. The game will kickoff at 6:30 p.m. CT at Darrell K Royal Texas Memorial Stadium.
