AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin Parks Foundation is seeking volunteers for both weekends of Austin City Limits Music Festival (ACL Fest), running Oct. 4-6 and 11-13.

Volunteer opportunities are now open to applicants ready to help keep the festival grounds green and fulfill team roles that ensure the smooth operations at one of Austin’s most iconic events. Volunteer applications are now open at on the Austin Parks Foundation website.

Applicants must be 18 years or older to apply. All volunteers get to enjoy the festival before or after their shift.

Volunteer opportunities include the following:

  • Rock & Recycle - encourages festival attendees to pick up a bag of recyclables from the grounds in exchange for a specially designed ACL Fest lineup tee.

  • Divert It! - enlists volunteers to encourage and educate fans by helping them compost, recycle and send less waste to landfills.

  • Hydration stations - encourage ACL Fest fans to bring a reusable water bottle to reduce waste. Volunteers will serve patrons free, filtered, cool water from special spigots.

  • Austin Kiddie Limits - greeter team and media team volunteers are focused on guest services and ensure a smooth experience for festival-goers. Austin Kiddie Limits provides an area for ACL’s youngest fans to enjoy the festival.

  • Volunteer HQ and backup - provide administrative and other support to all the other teams, including checking them in.
