AUSTIN, Texas — South by Southwest, Austin’s largest annual conference and festival, returns for its 38th edition this year. This staple celebrates the interconnected fields of technology, film, television and music. SXSW recently revealed Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney of The Black Keys as the newest addition of keynote speakers. The conference also released the fourth round of featured speakers, including names like Jane Fonda, Dwayne Wade, Chris Smalls, Devery Jacobs and more.

The SXSW Conference will take place from March 8-16, 2024. The Black Keys is a critically acclaimed rock duo, six-time Grammy award-winning artists and a BRIT. As keynotes, they will discuss their newest project, “This is a Film About The Black Keys,” an upcoming documentary premiering at the “SXSW Film and TV Festival.” The film follows their journey as two childhood friends in Akron, Ohio, to the world-renowned rock n’ roll duo. 

SXSW consists of 24 programming tracks ranging from medical technology to the film and TV Industry presented throughout the week. This year’s conference will include multiple newly announced sessions covering the evolution of music, the challenges of taking on large corporations, imagining a future without homelessness and more. Additional keynote speakers and featured sessions will be announced in the coming weeks.
