AUSTIN, Texas — Officials said a 42-year-old woman accused of setting a dumpster fire outside of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton's office was arrested.

Two surveillance videos were posted online showing a person of interest.

The Texas Department of Public Safety say they believe it was "unintentional" as she was seen discarding what appeared to be a lit cigarette into the trash bin. Yet, consequences will still follow. She is facing a criminal mischief charge that could result in a $30,000 fine.

The Texas Attorney General’s Office asked for help Wednesday in identifying the person responsible for the dumpster fire and they now have their answer. Paxton released the following statement after the arrest.
