GEORGETOWN, Texas — A new H-E-B is coming to the Austin area this summer. Georgetown will soon be home to a fancy grocery store. The newest H-E-B location is set to open Wednesday, June 7 at 6 a.m.

The Wolf Lakes Village H-E-B will replace an existing location just a mile away and will include the second True Texas BBQ location in Central Texas. Located at 1010 W. University Ave., the 121,000-square-foot store will replace the store on South 135 that opened in 1989. That location remains operational until the new one opens. The supermarket franchise operates out of two stores in Georgetown.

“We are thrilled to bring a new H-E-B store to Georgetown, a growing community we’ve proudly been a part of for more than 55 years,” said Cathy Harm, H-E-B group vice president Central Texas. “We look forward to serving this community with a larger store that offers a wide assortment of products and services and ensuring that our long-time customers continue to enjoy the best of what H-E-B has to offer.”

The new store is designed to have a European village feel.

Some of the amenities to be included are:

  • True Texas BBQ with indoor and outdoor seating
  • Two-lane drive-thru pharmacy
  • Full-service meat market and seafood counter
  • Fuel station and car wash
  • Expansive deli
  • Full-service bakery and tortilleria
  • Blooms floral area

This new location will be open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. and plans to hire another 100 partners.
