AUSTIN, Texas — The Central Texas Food Bank is holding another food distribution on Monday, Feb. 6, following the ice storm that blasted through Texas last week.

The food distribution will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Delco Activity Center, located at 4601 Pecan Brook Dr. in Austin.

After serving more than 1,000 households Saturday, Feb. 4, at the Onion Creek Soccer Complex and Nelson Fields, the food bank is stepping up to meet the increased needs of the community.

Central Texas Food Bank is concerned for those affected by the storm, especially those who have been without power. It further expresses concern that many people who have not accessed the food bank before may need to now. Those who have adequate resources and can help by volunteering or donating to the Food Bank are highly encouraged to do so.
