AUSTIN, Texas — The 30th Annual Austin Pride Festival and Parade returns on a new date after being postponed for two years. 

The Austin Pride Foundation hasn't held a Pride celebration since 2019. 

The festival is set for Aug. 20 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Fiesta Gardens. Games, carnival rides, Drag Queen Story time, and over 100 vendors will be featured at the event. Tickets will be $20 at the door for ages 18 and older, $10 for ages 7-17 and children 6 and younger are free. Tickets can be purchased here.

Parking for the festival is limited. The community can use the parking lots located to the north on Jesse E. Segovia, or the parking lot located to the east of Fiesta Gardens. No outside food or drinks or will be permitted.

The parade kicks off at 8 p.m. on Aug. 20 at the Texas State Capitol Building, will continue down Congress Avenue and will end on the Ann Richards Bridge at 11 p.m. The public is encouraged to take part. 

The parade is free.
