ROUND ROCK, Texas — You couldn’t pick a better day for baseball. The weather forecast for Thursday is nearly perfect and, more importantly, the day will see the return of Round Rock Express baseball to Dell Diamond.
The team will open play against the Oklahoma City Dodgers beginning at 7:05 p.m., but before you head out to the ballpark there are some COVID-19 protections in place you need to know about.
Per Major League Baseball mandate, all attendees must wear a facial mask at all times in the ballpark except when actively eating or drinking in a ticketed seat. The mask must cover your mouth and nose.
In order to keep surfaces clean, all tickets are digital. You can either print your tickets at home and bring them to the ballpark or save your tickets to a mobile device which will be scanned upon entry.

Dell Diamond is trying to operate as a cashless venue. Credit cards and gift cards are preferred for all transactions.
Hand sanitizer and hand-washing stations will be available throughout the ballpark and physical distancing will be enforced at concessions stands and elsewhere.
In addition to COVID-19 protections, the team is reminding fans that a clear bag policy remains in place.
Thursday’s game will be followed by a fireworks show.
