FORT WORTH, Texas – The City of Fort Worth says all library locations are reopening Tuesday, making it the largest library system to reopen across the state.
Some curbside sites will remain open in a limited capacity including East Berry, Ella Mae Shamblee, Meadowbrook, Northside, Riverside, Wedgwood, and the Downtown Central Library.
Those who visit the Downtown Central Library will notice some changes since the last time they’ve been able to go inside.
Renovations to the library have taken place since it was closed, including the entire lower level being permanently closed to the public, according to the city. Services that were on that floor have been moved to the floor on street level.
That library also has a new entrance to the teen and youth areas and there is a new computer lab on the main floor.
