TEXAS – Food Network's hit baking competition Spring Baking Championship is back for its seventh season with host and self-proclaimed “food whisperer” Ali Khan.
The show features Khan, an Austin native, presenting 11 competitors from across the country with spring-themed baking challenges to impress three celebrity chef judges. Each contestant has two chances a week to impress, with the contestant with the worst dish eliminated from the show.
The last chef standing takes home the $25,000 grand prize and a spot in Food Network Magazine.
Khan said it's a cooking experience like no other thanks to the pressure of cooking for television on top of the show's twists and turns.
"You could have worked the stoves in a professional kitchen for years," Khan said. "When you get on that big stage of Spring Baking Championship, it's its own moment!"
New episodes premiere every Monday at 8 p.m. CST. Fans can also stream the series on Discovery+.
