TEXAS — When Texas grocery chain H-E-B is reducing hours, you know things might get bad.
The Lone Star State staple will close some locations early throughout Texas Sunday and Monday. Road conditions are anticipated to deteriorate throughout the day Sunday, and agencies including TxDOT advise people to travel only if they absolutely must.
Already this weekend, H-E-B has seen significant traffic at many locations, with some shelves emptied of product.
H-E-B said regular hours will resume as soon as safely possible.
