AUSTIN, Texas – Matthew McConaughey virtually joined several other Dazed and Confused stars over the weekend for a good cause.
The virtual table read was hosted by Patton Oswalt on Sunday and included a live table reading and a Q&A session.
The initiative was organized to raise money for the Voto Latino Foundation, a voter advocacy group, and March for Science, an organization that, “mobilize[s] advocates around the world in support of evidence-based, science-informed public policies.” The Austin Film Society also helped organize the virtual event.
Viewers were able to donate money to the causes in advance of the program, allowing them to watch the exclusive content live.
McConaughey was joined by Ben Affleck, Parker Posey, Jason London and others for the live event.
