TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas – Early voting for the 2020 general election in Texas starts on October 13 and continues until October 30.
While there will be some changes to the process this year, Travis County is making numerous early voting locations available.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, you won’t find grocery stores on the list this time around, but you will find what the county calls Mega-Centers, which will remain open until 9 p.m. on October 28, 29, and 30.
In addition, several of the early voting sites are within a five-minute walk of Capital Metro bus stops. Those locations are denoted on the county’s list by a bus icon.
Early voting sites are divided by region and each region has one Mega-Center.
If you prefer to vote on November 3, Election Day, the list of polling locations is expansive. Bear in mind that you do not need to vote at the precinct at which you are registered to vote. You may vote at any of the locations listed.
The list includes many new locations and those within walking distance of Capital Metro bus stops are noted with a bus icon.
