AUSTIN, Texas (AP) – University of Texas officials say the school plans to have more than 2,000 classes online and that residence halls will reopen when students return to campus in the fall.

The school said Wednesday that classrooms will be limited to 40 percent capacity for in-person instruction to help maintain social distancing.

In other news from Austin, a member of the Texas Capitol security detail has tested positive for the coronavirus.

A spokesman for Gov. Greg Abbott said the officer has not been near the governor and his staff.

Spokesman John Wittman said the governor has been working away from the Capitol since Friday.
