Construction Starts at New Apple Campus in Austin

AUSTIN, Texas – Apple CEO Tim Cook announced Wednesday morning that the company has broken ground on a new Austin campus.

This announcement comes on the same day President Donald Trump is touring an Apple production plant that is manufacturing new Mac Pro computers.

According to a press release from the company, the new campus will cost $1 billion and will open by 2022.

Once it’s completed, it is expected to house 15,000 employees.
