NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – Property from Anthony Bourdain’s collection of art and other items will be on display in New Braunfels later this year.
- Some money raised will create a scholarship
- Exhibitions on display from October 9 - 30
- Bourdain died in June of 2018
Bourdain’s family is auctioning off approximately 200 items including a large amount art from Bourdain’s private collection.
The money will be going to his family who say they will be donating about 40 percent of the profits to a scholarship in Bourdain’s name at the Culinary Institute of America.
Starting October 2, the collection will be available for viewing online but people in Central Texas will have the opportunity to see some of the items in person.
Only three auction galleries in the country will house the items and one of them is the Lark Mason Associates auction house in New Braunfels.
The exhibition is located at 210 W. Mill Street and will be on display from October 9 – 30.
