AUSTIN, Texas -- Nearly half of all children's car seats are used incorrectly.

In order to help, the Texas Department of Transportation is encouraging parents to sign up for a car seat checkup during their "Save Me With a Seat" campaign.

The free, 30 minute inspection is available at TxDOT's 25 district offices.
