AUSTIN, TEXAS - With the University of Texas football season starting this Saturday, Capital Metro reminds Longhorn fans that transit provides a great alternative to game day traffic congestion and high parking fees.

CapMetro also offers a safe ride home after a fun day at the tailgate.
There are six routes that operate every 15 minutes between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m., seven days a week serving the UT campus.
The service is offered on Routes 7, 10, 18, 20, 801 and 803. Route 7 and Route 10, and the two MetroExpress routes offering Saturday service, Routes 980 and Route 985, will operate on a detour on game days. A bus pass costs $1.25 one way and $2.50 roundtrip. The pass can be purchased on board or with the CapMetro App.
UT students, faculty and staff ride for free with a valid school ID. Students 18 and younger ride all CapMetro services for free with a valid school ID.
