AUSTIN, Texas – A Southern food restaurant that is all things pickle is one of the highlights of the Oak Hill neighborhood, located in southwest Austin on Highway 290.

Pickles are featured in almost every aspect of the menu, including appetizers such as pickle queso, salads with pickle dressing, pickle fried chicken and fish, and pickled deviled eggs.

 

A variety of sandwiches also include pickles such as the Pickle House Reuben and the Pickle House Rachel. The restaurant also features a “Pickle Bar,” with pickled food other than cucumbers, such as carrots, okra, jalapeños, red onions and cabbage.

The Pickle House is located at 9521 Highway 290. It is open from Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. until 8 p.m.
