AUSTIN, Texas -- People who live in east Travis County and Creedmoor will no longer have to go far to see a doctor. On Monday, heatlh care came to them. 

CommUnity Care's medical mobile clinic has started receiving patients. Its first stop, Barbara Jordan Elementary School, is right at the heart of Colony Park, where health officials say, health care is needed most.

The new mobile facility houses two exam rooms, a lab, a pharmacy and a waiting area that can fit four people. With the help of Central Health funds, the clinic offers primary care, vaccines, and lab work.

The mobile clinic is open from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and is still accepting new patients.
