SAN MARCOS, Texas — Maxwell Water Supply Corporation issued a boil water notice on Saturday for some of its San Marcos customers.

  • A line broke
  • Affects several areas
  • Must boil to kill bacteria

Maxwell says a line broke. The areas affected are Saddlebrook, North Point Subdivision, Harris Hill Road, Blanco River Walk, and Post Road.

Affected customers must boil their water before consumption. To ensure the destruction of harmful bacteria and other microbes, tap water should be brought to a rigorous boil, and boiled for two minutes.

Maxwell will notify customers when the boil water notice is no longer in effect.
