CEDAR PARK — Construction began Wednesday on iSports Cedar Park, a large sports complex.

  • Designed for family entertainment
  • 206,000 square feet
  • Could open next summer

The vision for the facility is geared towards family entertainment, sports medicine, retail, and dining. The indoor/outdoor sports complex will include two regulation-sized hockey rinks and two turf fields. Chaparral Ice will operate the ice rinks and fields.

Another key tenant will be D1 Training Group of Central Texas, which has trained many of the nation’s top college and professional athletes, including Peyton Manning.

iSports Cedar Park’s principals include Eric Perardi of Perardi Development, JP Newman and Adrian Lufschanowski of Thrive FP, and John Trube. They were all present for a ground-breaking celebration on Wednesday.

“From the onset, our ultimate goal has been to create a family-oriented destination where physical fitness is fun for people of all ages, abilities and athletic interests,” said Perardi.

The 206,000-square-foot complex will be located on the southeast corner of the U.S. Highway 183A toll road and Scottsdale Drive in Cedar Park.

iSports Cedar Park could open as soon as the summer of 2020.
