TEXAS – Several Texas cities were hit with drug raids Tuesday morning conducted by the Drug Enforcement Administration.

  • DEA hits Austin, San Antonio with raid
  • At least 25 people in custody
  • More arrests coming

At least 25 people are in custody following the raids with six more warrants issued for offenders.

The year-long operation targeted traffickers allegedly dealing heroin, methamphetamine, and fentanyl.

The cities targeted in the raid include Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and McAllen.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office is the lead agency conducting the investigation.
