AUSTIN, Texas – A man has been charged in connection to the robbery of the flagship Kendra Scott jewelry store in Austin.

On April 2 around 3:40 a.m., Austin police said Raymond Hernandez broke into the store on South Congress.
The suspect broke in and began smashing jewelry cases. Surveillance video showed the burglar filling a bag with thousands of dollars’ worth of merchandise.
Three witnesses came forward and all identified the same man.
The Kendra Scott team worked closely with Austin police to catch the intruder.
The flagship Kendra Scott store is located on 1701 South Congress.
