AUSTIN, Texas — Three people are being treated at a hospital after falling into a grease pit at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

- All 3 taken to the hospital
According to Austin Travis County EMS, the agency received a call at 3:07 a.m. Wednesday that three people fell into a sewage drain used for grease collections at the airport restaurants.
Incident involved two contractors from Liquid Environmental Solutions who were in charge of cleaning the grease trap.
One airport operations employee tried to help after other two fell in.
Two people were able to crawl out but one person had a heart attack and was still in the pit when ATCEMS arrived.
All three were taken to the South Austin Medical Center.
