AUSTIN, Texas – An Austin-based vodka company is serving more than just drinks on April 13 when it will unveil two vinyl records.

Tito’s Handmade Vodka announced that on Record Store Day it will release two limited edition records through a partnership with Sun Records and Marc Maron. A total of 4,000 Tito's records will be available for purchase.

The first Tito’s record, titled Sun Records Curated by Record Store Day, Volume 6, will feature Jeannie C. Riley, Betty Harris, Evie Sands, and Bettye LaVette.

The second Tito’s record, titled In the Garage: Live Music from WTF with Marc Maron, will benefit Musicians On Call, a nonprofit that shares music with hospital patients. The record features 10 acoustic performances from artists like Jason Isbell, Melissa Etheridge, and Ben Harper.
Record Store Day is an event that highlights locally-owned record shops in cities across the country. The goal is to support local music and keep records being scratched from production all together.

The first Record Store Day was held on April 19, 2008. Metallica met with fans for hours in San Francisco. Now the event offers exclusive deals at independent record stores each year.

Tito’s will hold a Record Store Day after-party with cocktails, merchandise, and live music. The event will be at Aviator Nation Austin on 1325 S Congress Ave from 7 to 10 p.m.
