AUSTIN, Texas – Texas Athletics announced on Thursday that international hip-hip icon Ludacris will headline University of Texas’s spring football postgame concert.
- Part of "Made in Austin Weekend" April 12-14
- Austin urban hip-hop artist Noah North opening act
- All concerts are free and open to the public
The Orange-White game will be held on April 13 as part of “Made in Austin Weekend.”
Ludacris’s two-decade career includes three Grammy Awards, nine BET Awards, and one CMT Award.
The Longhorn City Limits postgame lineup also includes Austin urban hip-hop artist Noah North.
“It is going to be a fun day in Austin and what a thrill it will be to see a legendary, award-winning singer like Ludacris performing live. I’ve always been a huge fan and love his music, but more importantly, know players, students, recruits, fans and so many others will enjoy the show because he and his music transcend so many generations. We’re thrilled that he’s coming to Austin and making our day an extra special one.” Texas Football Head Coach Tom Herman said.
Longhorn City Limits will feature pre- and postgame concerts on the LBJ Lawn, outside the northeast corner of DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium.
All concerts are free and open to the public.
“Made in Austin Weekend” will happen April 12-14 on The University of Texas campus. It will include live music, food, beverages and dog-friendly activities.
