AUSTIN, Texas – Travelers will have more options to fly out of Austin with some major changes being unveiled at the airport on Thursday.
- ABIA opening new terminals
- Nine new gates coming to airport
- Expansion also includes an art display space
The Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is opening new terminals. The 175,000-square-foot expansion includes nine new gates, a new baggage system, and a terrace.
Some gates have been re-numbered, and fliers should double check their tickets to make sure they are going to the right one.
The expansion also includes a changing art display space.
The project cost $350 million.
