TEXAS – After Central Texas was hit with some heavy rain and severe storms overnight on Thursday, pictures have been pouring in of the high waters left behind.

• First responders flooded with calls for water rescues 
• More than 100 roads closed after overnight storm 
• Woman rescued from creek after truck washed away 

First responders were busy all morning with water rescues. Numerous reports came in of people swept away attempting to drive across closed low water crossings.

More than 100 roads were closed in Austin and surrounding areas with rising floodwaters.
