Many of the residents have evaciated, but some residents returned to attempt to move their RVs out of the park. One resident said she received a knock on her door at 5 a.m. Saturday informing her that she and her three children needed to evacuate.

Velvet De Hoyos has only lived here for a few months. She didn't think then nearby river would ever be in her backyard.

"We know we are close to the river, but every time we've gone over, it's been dry river bed," she said.

Holly Morgan wasn't so lucky. She left her camper and returned a few hours later to find it submerged in water.

"TV is still in there. My pet bird. My computer got wet," she said.

Morgan is now making arrangements for where she will stay if her camper is destroyed.

"We are going to Louisiana to my brother's. Stay there for awhile. See what's going on," said Morgan.

Residents who were able to get out of the flood parked their trailers at nearby East View High School.

"We have our family. My husband works nearby so we pulled the trailer to wherever he is working. This is our lifestyle but we had not anticipated this," said resident Velvet de Hoyos.

The water continues to extend throughout the park and at this point in time there is no way to indicate if the entire park will remain flooded or when residents can return.
