AUSTIN, Texas – A driver is facing charges for intoxication manslaughter after two people died in a crash on Nov. 11.

Police say Guy Brasted, 41, had a .203 Blood Alcohol Concentration when he allegedly crashed into a Fiat on the 9400 block of Research Boulevard. Around 3:30 p.m. Brasted was driving a Jeep northbound when he lost control and crossed the cable barrier and grass median.

The Jeep struck the Fiat in the southbound lanes head-on. The 38-year-old driver of the Fiat and a 14-year-old passenger died at the scene of the crash.

The driver was identified as Nancy Latulippe and the passenger as Jackson Latulippe.

A male passenger in the Fiat survived with life-threatening injuries and was transported to the Dell Seton Hospital for emergency surgery. The fourth Fiat passenger is a 10-year-old girl who sustained non-life threatening injuries.

The man nor the child have been identified.

Brasted was also transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. According to the affidavit, police believe Brasted was driving while intoxicated causing him to drive into the opposite lanes of the roadway and crash.

He is facing a third degree felony for two counts of intoxication manslaughter and one count of intoxication assault.
