1. Elon Musk claims X being targeted in 'massive cyberattack' as service goes down
Hours after a series of outages Monday that left X unavailable to thousands of users, Elon Musk claimed that the social media platform was being targeted in a “massive cyberattack.”

Complaints about outages spiked Monday at 6 a.m. Eastern and again at 10 a.m, with more than 40,000 users reporting no access to the platform, according to the tracking website Downdetector.com.
2. Austin and Manchester are officially Friends(hip Cities)
The City of Austin and Manchester, England, are officially long distance friends. Representatives of the two cities signed a Friendship Cities Agreement on Friday with the goal of collaborating in various areas.
Under the agreement, the cities — which are nearly 5,000 miles apart — will aim to connect culturally and strengthen their business ties, including through tourism, the arts, urban and economic development, science, technology and education.
3. S&P 500 tumbles most since 2022 as Wall Street questions how much pain for economy Trump will accept
The U.S. stock market's sell-off is worsening Monday, and it's heading toward its worst day since 2022 as Wall Street questions how much pain President Donald Trump is willing for the economy to endure in order to get what he wants.
The S&P 500 was down as much as 3% in afternoon trading, coming off its worst week since September. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 929 points, or 2.2%, as of 2:43 p.m. Eastern time, and the Nasdaq composite was 4.2% lower.
