Syracuse City School District officials have released their ICE protocols and guidelines.

According to Syracuse City School District Superintendent Anthony Davis Sr., the district cannot disclose student immigration status with any party without parental consent.

As for engagement with ICE and other federal officials, school staff members are being told to not interfere with law enforcement. If an agent steps on to any campus, protocol states Davis is to be contacted and he or his assistant will come to the building immediately.

This comes as President Donald Trump has called on federal agents to deport any illegal immigrants in the U.S.
