GREECE, N.Y. — A Greece man has been arrested in connection with a crash that killed a pedestrian on Dewey Avenue in Greece on Friday.

Police say Christopher Moody was driving near the intersection of Stone Road and Dewey Avenue when his car jumped the curb and hit Lisa Dambra as she was walking in a parking lot. His car also struck a house before police say he left the scene.

Moody is charged with manslaughter. Investigators say based on witness statements, speed appears to have been a factor.

A vigil was held for Dambra over the weekend. The restaurant she was leaving at the time of the crash, Cocina Latina, has set up a donation box to help the family.
