Four public hearings will be held in Rochester next month on a variety of topics impacting city residents.

For two days in April, officials say the hearings will provide an opportunity for community members to voice their concerns and propose solutions on public safety, animal services, LGBTQ rights and housing issues.

Hosted by City Councilmembers Stanley Martin, Mary Lupien and Kim Smith, the hearings will be open to the public and those who wish to take part should fill out an online form or by calling the City Council's main office at (585) 428-7538. Those participating will have three minutes to speak.

Each session will take place at the Rochester City Council Chambers at 30 Church St.
