Family members have identified Lisa Dambra as the victim of a fatal car crash on Dewey Ave. in Greece Friday afternoon.

Just before Dambra tragically lost her life in a car crash, she went to grab lunch at Cocina Latina, a place she would frequent.

"She came in, got what she ordered and I told her to 'have a nice day' and she said, 'you too,'" said Danielle Viera.

Danielle often served her, and never thought that would be the last time.

"It's just sucks what happened to her," said Danielle who started to tear up.

Her sister, Tabitha, who used to work at Cocina Latina, says she will always look back fondly at the friendship they shared.

"We would just talk and on the slow days, she wouldn't leave until the next customer walked in so it was just great. And she was an all around great person that you wanted to be around all of the time,” said Tabitha.

That's why the restaurant set up a donation box to support Lambra's family during this tough time.

"She needs help with household, rent possibly, lights, food, groceries, child care, you know, stuff like that. Lisa was always at work. She was a nurse. She worked, came to get food, went home, just to do the same thing the next day," said Tabitha.

A day after the fatal crash, Lisa's family and friends also held a candlelight vigil at the scene.

It's been a difficult 24 hours for many who loved Lisa, but especially Lisa's daughter, Hailey Allwood.

"I miss her being around. She was my mom and I can go to her mom and knock on her door and just talk to her about anything, and she played with her granddaughter,” said Allwood said through tears. “And now she is going to miss her birthday on Tuesday and she's going to miss Christmas."

While Allwood is trying to process the loss of her mother, she is thankful for everyone who is trying to help through the unimaginable pain she is dealing with. 

"It's an unexpected loss and it shows how much support we have behind us with my mom being gone now," said Allwood.
