OGDEN, N.Y. — Spectrum News is learning information about a tragic crash in Ogden earlier this week in which a woman was seriously injured and her baby later died.
It happened at the intersection of Buffalo Road and Stony Point Road at around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Police say Andrew Reardon, 32, failed to yield at a stop sign and drove into the path of a vehicle driven by Julia Resto, 32.
Resto was pregnant at the time and was rushed to the hospital where her baby was delivered. The baby did not survive.
Police say Reardon was driving while impaired by drugs.
He's been arrested and charged.
The investigation is ongoing and police say additional charges are possible.
