State Assemblyman David Gantt pleaded guilty to a traffic violation that he was issued following a crash last month.

The City of Rochester confirms Gantt was in traffic court Thursday where he pleaded guilty to failing to obey a traffic device.
According to the police report, Gantt became distracted and drove through a stop sign at the intersection of Central Park and First Street, hitting a van.
Gantt tested negative for alcohol and told Spectrum News that he did stop at two stop signs.
No one was seriously injured in the crash.
The driver of the van was ticketed for driving without a license.
