ROCHESTER, N.Y. — ​Rochester Police say they’ve made an arrest in connection with a homicide on Genesee Street that happened earlier this month.

Officers said 21-year-old Troy Jones faces a second-degree murder charge after he shot Brandon McClary multiple times on Genesee Street on June 17.

McClary died after being brought to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds, police said.

Police are asking for help in the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
