ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police have released the name of the man at the corner of Genesee and Sawyer Streets Thursday night.

Officers says 22-year-old Brandon McClary was shot multiple times by a number of suspects while standing on the corner.

According to police, officers responded to the corner of Genesee and Sawyer streets around 7 p.m. Thursday for a report of shots fired. When they arrived, they say they found a man in his 20s suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to URMC where he was pronounced dead a short time later, police said.

According to investigators, the victim was standing on the corner when multiple suspects with handguns approached on foot and fired multiple rounds at him.

No arrests have been made and the victim's name has not been released.
