Thursday brings another morning of maintenance for Rochester crews following an eighth night of protests in Downtown Rochester.
Crews were outside the Public Safety Building early Thursday cleaning up red paint that was dumped near the memorials honoring fallen officers and firefighters.
There were no arrests following Wednesday’s protests.
Protesters once again gathered at Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park, where food and water were handed out. The group eventually made their way to Rochester Police headquarters, where police say some barricades were knocked over.
Protesters continue to call for the resignation of Mayor Lovely Warren, and for the officers involved in the death of Daniel Prude to be arrested.
