Another Rochester Housing Authority employee is facing fraud charges.

Janis White, 58, of Rochester is accused of filing false invoices on behalf of HJJ property development, a business she controlled that was owned her mother and stepfather.

She is accused of billing Rochester Housing Charities for more than $87,000 for work that was never performed.

White is charged with defrauding and conspiring to defraud the Rochester Housing Charities and obstructing the government's investigation.

If convicted, she faces 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

She becomes the third person from the Rochester Housing Authority to face charges. The case against George Moses, the former Chairman of the Rochester Housing Authority, is ongoing and former city council member Adam McFadden pleaded guilty to wire fraud and filing a false tax return for his role in scheming to defraud the housing authority.
