Another lawsuit alleging sexual abuse has been filed against the Diocese of Rochester and several other local Catholic organizations.
The victim claims that Father Francis Vogt sexually abused him as a young child between 1969 and 1971. It allegedly happened at his home and at the Catholic Charities facility on Chestnut Street in Rochester. At the time, Vogt's brother was the pastor at the victim's church.
Vogt was accused in other instances of sexual abuse and removed from priesthood. He has since died.
The victim is seeking a trial by jury.
The diocese says it has not yet been made aware of the lawsuit.
