The Trump administration is launching national security probes into the impacts of imports of pharmaceuticals and semiconductors, a move that could be a step toward imposing the new tariffs in the industries that President Donald Trump has recently pledged.

Major sidewalk improvement project begins in village of Fairport

A major facelift is starting on a section of sidewalks along North Main Street through the village of Fairport the next several months.

The walkable village of Fairport is starting another round of improvements, this time focused on pedestrian safety and accessibility. Aging, uneven sidewalks will be replaced and new benches are going in, along with updated light posts, plantar boxes and treesand crosswalks. Most of the work is happening between the curb and building facades.
