GREECE, N.Y. — Police say a third person has been charged in connection with the abduction of two children from a Greece foster home earlier this year.

According to Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley, Joenathan Cash is named in a 19-count indictment along with Dimitri Cash and Kimara Pluviose. The three are accused of kidnapping Shekeria Cash, 3, and Dimitri Cash Jr., 5, from their foster home on January 18.

An Amber alert was issued and police say the children were found 48 hours later in Alabama in the back seat of a car that Pluviose was driving.

Police say the charges against the three suspects include burglary, kidnapping, and unlawful imprisonment.

"Dimitri was the one that organized this thing, and Joenathan and Kimara were the ones that executed it at that residence. They're the ones that went into that house and took those children. They were driven down to Alabama. So Joenathan had a significant role in this," said Greece Police Chief Drew Forsythe.

The next court date for the case is scheduled for April 22.
