Army West Point is conducting a national search for its next men's basketball coach after parting ways with Jimmy Allen, the school announced Wednesday.
Allen started at West Point in 2016 and held his position for the last seven seasons, compiling a 98-112 record.
"We are thankful to Coach Allen for his years of service to the program and to these cadets. We are excited for the future of Army Basketball with a new leader to continue to elevate the program," the statement from the school read.
The Black Knights went 17-16 this season, but lost Sunday in the the Patriot League semifinal 91-74 to Colgate.
